We had a beautiful turquoise crushed glass countertop that was chipped when something fell on it. We wanted to replace it, but the company had gone out of business. We talked with numerous glass countertop fabricators, but no one was able to provide what we needed, until we spoke with Michael Fridman at Contemporary Glass Design, Ltd. in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Michael was extremely easy to work with, and communication by phone and/or email was superb. Michael always got back to us immediately to answer any questions, and always explained things in great detail. He suggested we make our new countertop of thermoformed (textured) glass, as a less expensive alternative to crushed glass, and the result was extremely beautiful, as shown in the attached photos of our damaged crushed glass countertop and the thermoformed glass replacement. The delivery to our home in Ohio was flawless, and the quality of the replacement was beyond our expectations. We are as happy with the replacement as we were with the countertop that was damaged.
