Holiday Kitchen Remodel Ideas

Is there any time when your kitchen gets more use than during the holidays? More than likely, the answer is no.

You’ve had the itch to remodel your kitchen for years now, and you figure that now is as good a time as ever to pull the trigger.

Our team is happy to help! Here are some fantastic holiday kitchen remodel ideas that will surely get those creative juices flowing!

Glass Kitchen Counters

If you’re the “go big or go home type,” then you might as well go big with your kitchen upgrade by remodeling your countertop.

An old counter is not only unappealing but could be a hotbed for germs and bacteria as well. It’s really time for that thing to go.

What we recommend instead is an appealing glass kitchen counter from our team at CBD Glass. No matter what kind of counter you envision, with our expertise, we can make it happen.

For example, here’s a rather simple glass counter featuring our Ultra Clear glass base (which is translucent), 1 ½-inch-thick glass, and our famous Melting Ice texture.

This happy customer also asked for LED illumination and a matching backsplash. Together with their new custom cabinetry, their entire kitchen comes together in fabulous fashion.

A wraparound glass countertop is something that more of our customers are beginning to ask for, as seen here.

Rather than the glass expanding across the top surface of the counter, the glass keeps traveling down. Some customers like the glass midway down the counter, while others–as seen in this example–prefer the glass to go all the way to the floor.

That’s certainly a good way to take advantage of the protective features of glass!

The entire glass counter was built using our Aqua Clear glass base (which is a light teal hue) that’s 1 ½ inches thick and features our Melting Ice texture.

Glass Kitchen Islands

Are you also fortunate enough to have a kitchen island? This is an extra food prep surface that surely comes in handy around the holidays when you have ornate meals to prepare and more food than ever that needs to be plated.

Your current kitchen island likely takes a lot of abuse, so it’s time to upgrade to a glass one.

Your glass kitchen island and countertop can match completely, creating a sense of unity and cohesion in your kitchen.

You can also go for a unique approach with a different type of glass shape or color for the island than the counter.

Just take a look at what we can do and let your heart be your guide!

Glass Kitchen Backsplashes

Around the holidays, the kitchen is messier than ever. A protective backsplash is a surefire way to protect your walls, and a glass backsplash cleans so easily that it’s the ideal material.

As shown above, we can construct a simple backsplash that covers the entire wall. With our Ultra Clear glass base and no texturing, you can still appreciate the fresh coat of paint or appealing wallpaper your kitchen is beloved for.
